Please join us in welcoming two new business facilitators to the north and east of St. Joseph. Adam Summers is the new facilitator for Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation, and Jackie Spainhower is now leading North Central Missouri Business Facilitation.
Annette Weeks, Executive Director for the Center for Entrepreneurship and Center for Workforce Development, has helped train and mentor both Jackie and Adam.
Adam Summers replaces Keli Morris who has served entrepreneurs in the region as NWMEF’s facilitator for more than eight years. “I have thoroughly enjoyed the job as facilitator and cherish the relationships I have built in northwest Missouri.” Morris has accepted a position as operations manager for two entrepreneurial businesses in the region – Fantastic Fido’s and The Good Dog Brand.
Adam previously taught business and marketing at Penny High School in Hamilton and Craig High School. An entrepreneur himself, Summers is also vice president and cofounder of 413 Machining LLC in Maryville. Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation is a nonprofit business development group that serves rural entrepreneurs across northwest Missouri, including Andrew, Atchison, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway and Worth counties.
Jackie has served as the executive director for both the Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments and the St. Joseph Safety and Health Council, and most recently as a County Engagement Specialist for MU Extension. North Central Missouri Business Facilitation fosters entrepreneurial growth and economic development for the North Central Missouri region, focusing on Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Grundy and Harrison counties.
