Ten students are enrolled in the Applied Entrepreneurship class.  They are studying a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory on the west coast, preparing a business plan and presentation.  The students will present their plans to a panel of judges and compete to own a franchise and join over 20 owners in the Franchise Program.

The students have had the opportunity to learn from dynamic alumni including Brent Porlier, Zack Workman and Wayne Chatham along with local entrepreneurs Dave Shinneman and Don Tolly.

The group has been hands on in the local Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory with alumna and franchise owner, Katie Parra.  Additional owners, guest speakers and faculty round out the curriculum.
