During the fall semester, the Steven L. Craig School of Business had nine students enrolled in Applied Strategic Management, the final capstone experience course for our MBA program. These students represented the first graduating cohort of the Masters of Business Administration program. The Graduate students were tasked with developing business plans for Downtown St. Joseph, emphasizing a greater Missouri Western presence in the area. The students had the opportunity to meet with several stakeholders involved in the Downtown efforts including the Strategic Planning committee, Laura Wyeth, Brian Myers, Nic Hutchison, as well as several other small business owners in the region. The students concluded the course with Business Plan Presentations open to community stakeholders. The spring semester is now underway with 12 students.
